Books about Friendship

Can boys and girls just be friends? Mac and Levi are inseparable as BFFs, forming a dedicated friendship no matter how painful it maybe sometimes.

Reagan and Lilah, Dee to her BFF, are an amazing BFF pair. Rooting for each other until the end. This is the pair you can ugly cry with and have no judgement, just don't forget the ice cream.

There are too many friendship feels to put in a few sentences. If you've ever felt alone, left out or scared you know Patrick and Sam are just the people for you.

Elizabeth and Lauren begin their friendship reluctantly, via email communications, the summer before college. What they discover is sometimes you just need a friend who will listen, it's a crazy world out there.

This rag tag band of friends is one for the books. These are the friends that would kill for you, literally. Sometimes friendship is all about sacrifice and no story tells it better than this one.

Cath and Wren are twins, which is like automatic besties for life, right? Fangirl explores the complications of growing up, growing a part and learning to grow together. Throw in the bonus of Reagan, the unlikely BFF who turns out to be just what Cath needs.

The Liars friendship is filled with passion and love, but it's their closeness that just might lead to their demise. This friendship hit me hard.

The friendship formed between Aria and Roar is so awesome and unavoidable. Possessing the same unique abilities they literally feel each other's pain, which in this series is a lot. It's fair to say without this bond the journey to the Still Blue. Bonus friendship between Perry and Cinder. A unique bond formed in the spirit of becoming family and protecting each other at all costs.

Liesal's friendships with Rudy and Max are fundamentally varied in depth but equally moving.
It's the relationship with Max that rocked me.

What book friendships have moved you?

  1. Great choices. We Were Liars, Perks & Under the Never Sky made my list too, I absolutely loved all of those and the friendships in them. We Were Liars & Perks both broke my heart. <3 Nice list :) Here's my TTT.
