Stacking the Shelves #35: Dec. 14 – Dec. 27

SOOO my book buying has gotten a bit out of hand these past couple of weeks.

For starters I went to the annual county library book sale and then I was tempted by the used bookstore and numerous sales at Barnes and Noble, and Amazon. Oy Vey!!!

I'm thinking a book buying ban might be in order to kick off 2015. :/

Here's what I added to my shelves over the past few weeks...
(Christmas/Boxing Day Haul will be revealed in the new year)

I got this awesome stack from a fellow blogger :) Thanks Kierra!

Purchased

The annual county library book sale was selling all YA hardcovers for $2 so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to stock up on series and other goodies!

The entire Harry Potter set for $14!

Haters can hate but, yes, I bought the Twilight Saga. I read them back in college but they were mom's copies so I thought for $8 I could own my own set.

Wolves of Mercy Falls series

  2. Wow, what a haul... I don't even know from where to start.
First of all - nice find on the Harry Potter series. I think all of my copies are from a different edition... One day I'll just buy a box set or something so I have matching copies.
And definitely no judging on Twilight Saga - a couple of years ago I bought all the books for myself from a secondhand store after I found out that I could get all four books for a pound. I used to love those books, so I thought I should probably have them in my collection.

This is What Happy Looks Like is super cute! And the DUFF is awesome - can't wait to see the film adaptation of that one since the trailer looks HILARIOUS! The Sky is Everywhere is also really good!

I hope you enjoy these all and have a good weekend! :)

  4. The whole HP series for $14!!! That's an amazing deal! I used to hit up library sales all the time but since I moved, they've kind of been... lackluster where I live now. I seriously love The Duff - I can't wait for the movie. And The Sky is Everywhere is one of my all time faves! I hope you enjoy everything :D

  6. OMFG GORGEOUS HAUL!!! I'm drooling! Sweet deals with the HP, Twilight and Shiver series :D The HP ones look just like new too and I've always wanted THAT particular edition myself ♥ I still need to read Shadow and Bone, Eon, Winterspell, Venom, Fire and Thorns AND TID series but they're all on the old TBR ;)

Obviously you had a fabulous christmas bookish-wise, but I hope everything else was wonderful too! And if we don't chat before then: Happy new year ♥
