Summary via Goodreads:

When Eva Tilling wakes up in the hospital, she’s confused—who in her sleepy little North Carolina town could have hit her with their car? And why? But before she can consider the question, she finds that she’s awoken with a strange new skill: the ability to foresee people’s deaths when they touch her. While she is recovering from the hit-and-run, Nate, an old flame, reappears, and the two must traverse their rocky past as they figure out how to use Eva’s power to keep her friends—and themselves—alive. But while Eva and Nate grow closer, the killer grows increasingly frantic in his attempt to get to Eva.

Why I'm Waiting...

I got the ARC for this at BEA and I was so lucky! I was the last person thanks to author Dawn Metcalf who was actually in front of me and should've gotten the last copy. She was so nice and let me have it. I am still all smiles over her kindness.

I love a good thriller and this takes place in NC! I'm very curious about this power and what the killer is after. The stakes are high and I'm all in! This is going to be dark, unforgiving, heartbreaking and so exciting!! How do I know? Keep reading...

You can check out Melissa Marr's website for her playlist that kept her inspired while writing Made for You. Some songs include Pink's "Just Give Me a Reason" and Rihanna's "Stay", but it's a pair of songs from Blue Stahli and "Made for You" by Niia that really helped set Marr's mood.

Also, the book's original title was "Saving Grace" which I thought was interesting.

  2. How nice of her! Jealous though, can't wait to read this one. I have tried to the first of her Wicked Lovely series which I liked, but not that interested in Fae, but this is more my type of read! Hope you enjoy it. :)
