Getting to know Becoming Books!
I went to college for an obscenely long time and missed the relaunching of YA lit. My junior or senior year mom mentioned a series called Twilight and said I needed to read it. As senioritis set in and the movie promos started coming out I decided to give it a shot. Mom mailed me the first book and I quickly binge read the series. Afterwards I wanted to read all things YA, all the time!!
A few years later after grad school a colleague and I binge read The Hunger Games, Divergent and Under the Never Sky together. In between we snuck in some Netflix binges as well ;)
Outside of reading/blogging I enjoy being outside, taking photographs and traveling. I LOVE traveling. I've made it a mission to take one out of country trip per year. Since 2007 I've only missed one year I believe... my upcoming trips include Europe #4 in May/June 2015 and Canada 2016.
Feel free to follow the blog and/or leave comments so I'm not the awkward kid talking to the vast interwebs :p
I'll be attending ALA-Midwinter so if you'll be there, don't be shy!
