I've been a bit off my bloggy game lately so I wanted to check-in and share some of my adventures.
August was INSANE!
I work at a university doing marketing and media so with little student staff on hand for move-in and week of welcome, I lost my soul temporarily. It was absolutely amazing welcoming over 1,000 new students to campus, getting to know them and getting classes started.
So far I have an amazing intern and work-study team so I'm really excited for this semester!
Then I went on vacation...
I just returned from Costa Rica where I vacationed with mom! It was exciting, relaxing and in true fashion I came home with bumps and bruises. :/
My week consisted of lazy days at the beach, long walks, ziplining, riding ATVs (this is where the bumps and bruises came in), chilling in the hot springs spa and very long bus/van rides!
Becoming Books turned 6 months!
While I was in and out Becoming Books turned 6 months old! I cannot believe it has already been SIX MONTHS! I woke up one day and began binge reading, then I was visiting the library and then I wanted to share my thoughts.
Over the past six months Becoming Books has gained over 2,000 followers in social media and made 214 posts with over 22,000 pageviews. I was lucky enough to attend BEA in May and have received many awesome books courtesy of various publishers over the past few months.

Moving forward...
I'm getting back into my reading groove so next week I'll be back on my reviews and meme's schedule including the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon!

ReplyDeleteI often wonder how bloggers manage to be constant in their activity. I don't even have a very demanding work but I would just get distracted by any small random thing happening around me and completely forgo my plans for the blog.
