What a long week back at work! The days here in North Carolina are hot with a side of evening showers. Incidentally, this is perfect reading weather :)

I went into B&N to buy Murder Complex and picked up Summer of My German Soldier. I vaguely remember reading this as a pre-teen and wanted to re-read. Mom then dug into her teen memories and remembered there was a made-for-TV movie, so we searched eBay and sure enough there it was. Of course I bought the DVD. We'll see how this project turns out... haha!

I'm pretty sure my mom bought me Summer of My German Solider growing up, but I don't believe I ever actually read it. Which is too bad since it really seems like one I would have enjoyed. But maybe now is the time for me to read it?!?!
