Camping Edition
I LOVE to camp. I'm really not sure when this love started but I'm pretty sure it was not childhood. My family did not do the whole RV-cross-country-Griswald's kind of thing. I think I really learned to love camping when I went to Europe to become a Girl Scout counselor to expat and military girls. I lived in a platform tent for THREE MONTHS and slept on a cot. So it just became a way of life. When I got back to the States I wanted to be outdoors more and started camping more regularly. I'm hoping to go on a long-term hiking/camping trip one day.
Coolest place I've camped: Versailles, France
Can't believe I'm camping moments: Anytime it rains... which is always.
Preferred Camping Method: Old school.... tent style!
Greatest camping accomplishment: Starting a fire in the rain, and making fajitas and spanish rice for hungry campers! I had some awesome counselors helping and I'm telling you, Team Work Makes the Dream Work!
Fellow counselor shows junior Girl Scouts how to chop wood. This is serious stuff! Once a session the cook had the night off so we were left to fend for ourselves...ekk!
Every year we get a group together to go camping on the beach in the Outer Banks, NC.

Good post I think it’s a very best stay for their visitors and very nice sharing about camping. Camping is a best idea to go with your family in a holiday. I love camping.
