Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish

6 Most Unique Books I've Read

Bright Lights, Big City
This books is told in the second person which is unusual and took me a minute to settle into.

The Book ThiefThis books is told from Death's point of view, equally creepy and comforting.

RoomAn adult read through a child's eyes. Disturbing on so many levels.

Second StarRetelling of a classic fairy tale but it reads like a contemporary realistic.

Scar TissueExplains so much, you'd think it was fiction if it wasn't Anthony Kiedis. Also, did you know his babysitters were Sonny and Cher?

Iron Fey SeriesAs a child I was not much for fantasy, especially magic. Never read Harry Potter or even fairy tale classics. It was this series, on a hunch, that launched me into my first magical world. I have yet to read anything quiet like it. Now I want to know everything fae!

4 Honorable Mentions

All of these are children's or middle grades reads, but even as an adult I have yet to find similar worlds. These have stuck with me as weird, memorable and laughable through the years.

What is your most unique read?
