So this week there was limited book mail but alllllll the book sales!
The first book sale I found was at a local private school where I got a bag of books for $10. The second book sale I found was the local library's book sale where hardback/trade paperbacks were a $1 and Children's/YA paperbacks were 50 cents. Needless to say my book buying got a little out of hand...

Prep! I loved that book. I'm also excited to see Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close in your stack :) And you got Hemlock Grove!! I watched the tv adaptation of that one and it was really... something else ;)

DeleteWow, that is one amazing haul. I recently read Side Effects May Vary but didn't enjoy it all that much, the main character was not likeable at all. I loved Water for Elephants when I read that one, such a brilliant book. I hope you enjoy your books :) My STS.
ReplyDeleteI've heard mixed reviews about SEMV so we'll see... I do tend to be a black sheep. :/ I've avoided seeing WfE the movie because I've heard such good things about the book!

DeleteDon't you just love sales though?! SO MANY BOOKS. I didn't like Panic as much as I expected or wanted to, and I feel like the black sheep of Side Effects May Vary because I really enjoyed it. Happy reading! :)

Love the sales... my partner is convinced we're going to be on hoarders... haha. I'm actually never read Lauren Oliver so I'm looking forward to it. Yay, glad to hear you like SEMV, yes people have wildly different opinions on the book.. we shall see.
