Dreaming of books! I actually dream of bookish lands often. World building can become that enchanting and amazing to where I want to go there... FOREVER! These are a few of my favorite world building books.
Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, because there is no bookish dream superior to Hogwarts.
Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa, because I've never fallen in love with fae like I have these fae. I want to live in Winter Court so bad!
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, because good will always outweigh evil. Plus, Mr. Tumnus!
Firebird series by Claudia Gray, because she paints beautiful and multiple worlds for dimension hopping.
The Never Sky series by Veronica Rossi, because I don't want to live here but I felt like I did for a long time. The struggle.
Starbound series by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner, because their home fell out of space. FELL out of space! And there's whispers which are mega creepy and may have given my a nightmare.

yup I dreamt falling into the rabbit hole just like alice quite a peculiar dream I even thought I would see here there but no she wasn't I just went on the usual route and finally found myself out and woke up lol

ReplyDeleteI don't want to be predictable, but my favorite bookish world is totally Harry Potter's world. I've had dreams about Hogwarts and who wouldn't love to be part of his world of magic? I know times get scary, but it just really appeals to me. Plus, I LOVE the thought of boarding school!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite bookish world is the winter court, and I wish I could live there too. Not only because I love winter, and Ash. It's that I loved this series, and it was my first REAL saga, like more than 3 books. And once I started reading I couldn't stop until I had fallen in love with every single character, even the awful Iron King.

My favorite bookish world would be from the Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare. I like how the shadowhunters have to fight supernatural creatures and draw runes on themselves. As well, you can have a parabatai! Who wouldn't want to be in this world?!
